We will have our regular mosh area all closed off to make it our own private space. Wear what makes your puppy wag. Normal safety rules are in effect with regard to spikes, hard soled shoes, etc. on the mats.
Nudity is allowed at this event but only on the mosh mats. When off the mat area underwear/jocks and shoes must be worn. Please keep in mind that sexual play is not permitted as we still need to follow bar rules in that regard.
Don’t have a membership yet? You will be able to get one at the event so come on down and join us!
July Walkies: Lynn Headwaters Hike and Swim
For the hike this year we are heading back to Lynn Headwaters Park. Last year we added stopping by the creek to cool off and since everyone had fun we are doing that again.
When: July 20 starting promptly at 11am
Where: Meet at the End of the Line General Store at the corner of Lynn Valley Road and Dempsey Road in North Vancouver
We will be doing a different route this year which will include the Twin Falls Bridge, Seymour River Suspension Bridge, loop around Rice Lake and finally ending at the creek below the 30 foot pool to cool off in the water. The general route will be similar to the below with the exception that we’ll be walking on the west side of the 30ft pool at the start instead of the east. The route is a mixed of groomed walking paths and forest trail.
Difficulty Easy, time approx 3 hours (not including swimming after), round-trip about 12km, elevation gain minimal, friendly to bio-dogs
What to bring:
Good shoes, water, snacks, hats, sunscreen, sun glasses, clothes to wear in the water (family friendly area), hoods/masks for pictures!
How to get to the End of the Line General Store
By Car: 25-40 min from Vancouver, Burnaby, and Surrey
By Transit: 50-60min via Bus 210 from Pender/Thurlow in Vancouver
By Transit: 1hr 20min from Metrotown in Burnaby (train to Pender/Thurlow)
At the end of the hike we can all stop and play in the water then gather at the End of the Line General store for ice-cream or the like before heading back.
See you then!

Due to an active request from One Stop Shop Games, it has been decided to put Board Games night on hiatus. This is due to low attendance and we should not be sat indoors but enjoying the wonderful Vancouver weather.
Board Games night will return in The Fall, so stay tuned for more information in the coming months.
